What is channeling?
Channeling is the act of
tuning into the Divine Source to bring through love, wisdom, and guidance.
We are all part of a Divine Source. This Divine Source is a Higher Power that
goes by many names, such as God, Universal Intelligence, Creative
Principle, First Cause, etc. We can use this Higher Power to help us with
anything at any time. We can and should use the Divine Source to heal every
circumstance in our lives—mental, emotional, and physical—including finances,
relationships, spirituality, work, and health.
Through channeling we can:

How can a
channeled reading help?
A channeled reading gives you
“hidden” information for greater understanding. The “hidden” information that
comes through isn’t mysterious or dangerous; it’s just what’s going on under the
surface, such as how another person is feeling and what may be causing those
feelings, issues within a business organization including possible changes that
might affect you, recurring patterns of behavior, and so on. You also receive
suggestions of changes you can make to ensure a happier outcome.
The information
that comes through me never tells you what to do. That would be impinging on
free will, and free will is sacred. The information is brought through to help
you make your own choices and feel good about them.
How do you channel?
I am a conscious trance
channel, so I am usually aware of what is being said while I’m channeling,
although I do not know what will come through beforehand. Sometimes I am
actively involved, such as when I give you information that I am guided to share
with you, or when I am helping to translate symbols and impressions that are
coming through; other times I am very passive as words come through me without
accompanying pictures or impressions.
Who do you channel?
After years of channeling,
someone asked me who I channel, and I realized that I had never asked for names.
I had always just thought of them as "The Council." My spiritual teacher, Rev.
Don Weldon, taught me that names are not important—content and results are. The
information that came through was always uplifting and helpful so I never
bothered to get an ID. I had simply always thought of it as a higher
consciousness.
I act as a mouthpiece for answers from that higher consciousness. I believe that
all wisdom comes from the Divine Source, or God, through our Higher Self (also
known as our Superconscious). The Higher Self is our soul, the very soul that is
animating this physical body. It knows its oneness with the Divine Source and
never forgets it.
Souls are individual expressions of the Divine Source. Teachers, guides,
departed loved ones, angels, and Masters are souls in the non-physical.
Depending on their level of understanding, they are aware of their connection
with the Divine Source and can help us remember our own connection and use the
wisdom and love available to us at all times. We know many of these individual
souls as our dearest friends (soul mates) when we are on the Other Side. Who
helps us from the Other Side depends on the person for whom I am channeling. I
ask for those best qualified to assist in each case and trust to the Divine
Source. It always comes through.
How can I get the best results?
The kind of information that
comes through—the style and clarity—is determined by you as much as by me. Your
attitude will decide what you get and how well you understand and use the
information. I asked why attitude makes such a difference and the reply was:
“You are beings of free will. If your attitude is negative, you are giving us
the message that you don’t really want to hear what we have to say. If you are
hiding something from the channel or falsely denying something that is coming
through, you are telling us that that subject is off-limits. If you are saying
‘I can’t,’ or ‘That won’t work,’ to every suggestion we make, you are telling us
that you do not want to consider our suggestions. We must honor your free-will
choice.”
I abide by the sanctity of free will in all of my work. Respecting free will
includes respecting another’s privacy. I consider respect especially important
as a channel and hypnotherapist due to the confidential nature of the work.
When do I need a reading?
A channeling session can be
very helpful when you want to gain a higher perspective. Sometimes there is just
too much happening at once or you are too closely involved in a situation to be
able to get out of the confusion of emotions.
What can I ask about?
You can ask questions about
anything except random acts. Random acts are things like gambling, including
winning the lottery. Questions on spiritual, social, financial, global, career,
health, and relationships of all kinds are fair game. All questions are best
aimed at how to better understand yourself and others and how to improve
yourself and your lifestyle.
Answers do not come in the form of what I call “magic-wand promises.” Take
predictions for example. If you ask whether or not you will be happy with
someone you are considering as a partner (business or personal), you will not
receive a simple yes or no. You will receive information on the pros and cons
that may include the issues that need to be addressed, past-life influences,
yours and the other person’s recurring patterns, the hidden emotions,
motivations, and so on. You will also receive guidance on how to change what you
don’t like. (One of the things I love the most about channeling is that even if
you get what you think of as bad news, you also get guidance on how to change
it.)
Can you tell me my future?
I don't do what is
considered traditional fortune-telling. I'd rather help you make changes so
you create the future that you want than tell you what is probably going to
happen.
As you can see from the previous question (“What can I ask about?”), psychic
predictions are used as tools to help you improve your life. Their purpose is
to:
- Validate our choices or
- Help us get through something we may not like but cannot change or
- Give us a heads-up if we’re making choices that will result in a future we
don’t like.
Predictions are given as
probable or not probable, but never guaranteed because through our free will, we
create and change our future with every thought word and deed. That means that
we can change almost anything in our
future!
