myself amazingly fortunate to have studied with two renowned pioneers
teaching metaphysics and hypnotherapy: Reverend
Donald E. Weldon, mentioned in books including
"Threshold
To Tomorrow" by Ruth Montgomery, "You Were Born To Be Together"
by Dick Sutphen,
and "We Immortals"
by Alan Weisman;
and with Gil Boyne,
mentioned in many texts on hypnotism and hypnotherapy and described by
Sylvia Brown
as “a noted instructor” in her book "Secrets & Mysteries of the World."

Years At Creative Guidelines in
Phoenix, AZ
I
began my formal studies with Reverend Donald E. Weldon, founder of
Creative Guidelines. Don was the first to introduce me to the fact that
we create everything in our lives. His series of courses were aimed at
opening us to the greater power of our Higher Selves so we work with
life instead of against it—with ease instead of struggle. Each course
included an average of two hours per day, seven days a week of what he
called “grow work.”
The courses covered spiritual counseling, current- and past-life
regression, hypnosis, hypnotherapy, spiritual application, meditation,
self-awareness, abundance, and how to teach Metaphysics. I gained an
understanding and control over my psychic abilities as a result of the
courses and personal hypnotherapy sessions.
I
finished the 84 weeks of courses in just under two years, graduating as
a teacher of metaphysics and mind power, a hypnotherapist, and an ordained
metaphysical minister.

Years at Hypnotism Training Institute (H.T.I.)
in
Los Angeles, CA.
The Hypnotism
Training Institute of Los Angeles offered the most comprehensive
training available in hypnotherapy (200 classroom hours + extensive
practice sessions). Partial curriculum included: * Hypnotherapy * Group
Hypnosis * Trance Management * Teaching Self-Hypnosis * Psychosomatic
Illnesses * Therapeutic Techniques such as gestalt dialogue and body
parts * Healing and Pain Control * Hypnotic Age Regression * Programming
and Reprogramming the Subconscious.
I completed the courses in less than one year,
graduating as a hypnotherapist eligible for certification.
In addition to the training, I gained invaluable insights
and experience working as assistant to the founder and teacher of H.T.I.,
Gil Boyne, for 3˝ years.
With over 45 years experience, Gil Boyne is one of the
modern pioneers of hypnotherapy and hypnotism. He has fought tirelessly
for legal recognition of hypnotism and hypnotherapy and greater public
awareness of its benefits. He is also a truly gifted practitioner. In April 2000, Gil
was inducted into the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame at Valley
Forge, PA. He received the prestigious award, “Man of the Century” in
global recognition for his innovative genius in the therapeutic and
healing applications of Hypnotherapy.

The

stores specializing in metaphysics and the occult sciences. I worked as
a full-time psychic counselor at the Psychic Eye Book Shop in Las Vegas,
NV for four years.

environment, I expanded my understanding of many aspects of the psychic
arts and spirituality.

Years at the University of Metaphysics
I am
currently studying at the University of Metaphysics, the largest
worldwide student body in metaphysical doctoral level education. I
obtained my masters in Metaphysical Science in just under one year, and
I am now working toward my doctorate.
Dr. Paul Leon Masters is founder of the University of Metaphysics and
the University of Sedona and has been instrumental in helping to
legitimize the study of Metaphysics with extensive curriculum and
recognized academic degrees. Metaphysics is not just theory or academics
to Dr. Masters. He is currently in his 47th year of full time work in
the field of Holistic, New Thought Metaphysics and Ministry.
